I happened upon this code by decrypting the original Game Genie code-ASEOXGEP (found it on another site, but can't remember which one), and hunting down the equivalent ROM address in TempAR. If you want to get a good ending, however, try not to lose right after you roll the score back around to 0. This could, in theory, go on indefinitely. This will increase up to F99,999, at which point it rolls over back to 000,000. The score increases as normal from 0 to 199,999, then goes to A00,000. The only "bad" side to this is that it rolls over every 900,000 points instead of every million. I'll let you know what sort of weirdness results from THAT.ĮDIT: Discovered how to make the score "roll over" instead of being stuck at 999,999. I haven't yet tried to fiddle with the addresses around 0x00341763. I've tried tinkering with the addresses around 0x00341743, but the only thing I can come up with is to make each block worth 100 points (give or take), by locking the value at 0x00341743 at 0xA0. That's right-there are TWO simultaneously-updating sets of addresses dealing with the total points you've accumulated during your current game. I've been poking around in NES Tetris using TempAR 1.62-3 on NesterJ 1.13, and I found the score addresses starting at 0x00341743 and 0x00341763.
