The WD10FCE/WMJ10FCE add a cutaway and Fishman® electronics for stage work.
The WD10F/WMJ10F and WD10FCE/WMJ10FCE all feature flame maple tops. Included in the 10 Series is the spruce topped WD10 & WMJ10. The 10 Series feature mahogany backs & sides. A prefix of WD denotes dreadnought body and WMJ denotes a mini jumbo body. The new range featuring a variety of body shapes and wood combinations will be available from June 2010.Įach of the new 10, 20, 30, and 40 acoustic series features different tonewoods with models available in dreadnought or mini jumbo body styles. Chrome-plated die-cast tuning machines complete the specs list.Washburn Guitars has previewed an all-new acoustic guitar range at NAMM 2010 consisting of 30 new models. Mahogany neck is fit with a standard contour in the back and is topped with a standard 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
Fishman`s Isys+ preamp is mounted onto the side of the body and suits the WD10CE`s natural tone perfectly (solid top and this high quality preamp put this model closer to lower intermediate and intermediate classes).
Bridge on the top is made of rosewood and features a synthetic bone saddle. Back and sides of the body are made of mahogany, while the top is made of solid spruce, for the WD10CE is envisioned as much more than the first acoustic guitar in player`s career, it is supposed to accompany the player in his/her first on-stage experiences (thus the solid top and quality electronics). 25-1/2" long scale, generous body size and Washburn`s signature quality of build give this six-stringer a fantastic base. WD10CE comes with a single-cut dreadnought body and a standard neck attached with a 14th fret dovetail joint. Apprentice line is, probably, the best beginner-lower intermediate series out there. WD10CE is a new model introduced into the mighty Apprentice series.
